New Creative Markets Programme [ 18 February 2013 ]

The New Creative Markets Programme is an initiative run by SPACE, Craft Central, Four Corners and Photofusion with the goal to assist small creative companies/freelancers in the digital image, design, designer making and visual arts sectors grow their businesses. 

Applicants should have a commitment to increase their sales during the programme. They will be expected to engage actively with the project activities and will be asked to provide a certain level of detail about their business, in particular a set of accounts or a tax return. ERDF Programme Manager [ 30 July 2012 ]

The Programme Manager is responsible for efficient day to day organisation of this ERDF programme, which aims to assist artists access new markets and trading opportunities. They will collect, record and process a range of project documentation, grant claims, and output evidence. The Really Wild Show- Call for applicants. [ 18 January 2012 ]

Space studios are offering 4 residencies for emerging artists working with contemporary technological culture.  Proposals are accepted from artists questioning the perception and realisation of the 'wild' through the very technologies we now use to access and form our world. While it is important that artists are engaged with technology in their work, for these residencies, there is more interest in how artists explore technology and its shaping of contemporary experience rather than demonstrations of new technologies and their possibilities.  Residencies are based in SPACE's MediaLab, with access to larger space to build work as and where necessary.  Read full listing…

Visual and Media Arts Training Manager [ 9 January 2012 ]

SPACE’s Media Lab supports emerging artists and recent graduates through courses, DIY technology workshops, talks and events. A manager is sought to programme, market and promote all courses and workshops, foster peer to peer learning, and develop new income streams for the lab. Applicants should have detailed knowledge of the contemporary and digital arts communities, with knowledge of their technical support needs; and is also required to manage grant-funded training and reporting related to this.
