Photography Technician
WHO: candidates with a first degree, or equivalent, in a relevant subject and experience of working with young adults in a teaching or training environment.
WHAT: Permanent Technician Demonstrator Photography
WHEN: Evening and weekend working will be necessary on a rota basis.
PAYMENTS: £22,325 pa
DETAILS: to work with the team of staff supporting the delivery of courses at the Arts University College at Bournemouth. The successful candidate will deliver a variety of induction programmes, construct and adapt teaching aids, models and samples, and assist with the essential maintenance of our photography resource areas, studios and location stores. They will also be responsible for ensuring the learning environment is adequately equipped whilst supporting a diverse range of learners to use relevant analogue/digital equipment and software. A good working knowledge of health and safety is essential. Applicants should have a strong, up-to-date knowledge of traditional and digital photography capture and post production techniques, and be able to plan and organise a complex workload. The ability to work independently and as a member of a team is essential.
