WHO: educators with an interest in consumer culture and an ability to work with both children and adults.
WHAT: a volunteer Education Assistant is sought to help deliver taught workshops for Early Years and Key Stage Two at the Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising.
WHEN: museum volunteers must commit to a full day on most Mondays during school term time. It is expected that Education Volunteers will commit to an additional alternative day during school holidays for a suggested 4 hours per week, either a morning or an afternoon.
DETAILS: the role involves supporting the Education Officer with the following: Preparing for school visits; Leading/assisting curricular based activities for school groups (aged 3–11), including interactive tours, handling sessions and craft workshops; Administrative tasks including resource development and testing, marketing, research and database work.
