WHO: professional artists working in glass.
WHAT: European Glass Context 2012 and Berlin Glas e.V. are working together as the Glass Studio Movement celebrates its 50th anniversary. The collaboration between European Glass is motivated by a common desire to promote contemporary glass arts and create new Artist in Residence (AiR) opportunities for glass artists. Two four week residencies are being offered.
WHEN: 1-30 Sept.
PAYMENTS: the residency will provide basic materials, clear glass and access to studio facilities. Visiting artists are responsible for any specialist materials and tools other than the basics provided.
CHARGES: the residency does not include room and board.
