Internship in Stained Glass Conservation
WHO: new entrants to conservation from arts, sciences, crafts or wider heritage-related backgrounds. Note that candidates will need to meet university criteria for the MA, as well as those for the placement.
WHAT: The Institute of Conservation (Icon) is advertising a unique six -month internship as part of the fourth year of its innovative scheme for broadening access to careers in heritage conservation and diversifying its workforce. Icon offers a bursary for a 6-month work-based internship starting in March 2009 in the studio of Jonathan and Ruth Cooke. The placement is designed to lead into the new MA in Conservation of Stained Glass at the University of York.
PAYMENTS: Stipend is £14,750 p.a.
