WHO: artists in all disciplines at mid or advanced career stages from all countries

WHAT: residency programme which aims to support residents in their creative explorations, investigations and professional growth within an environment of communication and exchange

WHEN: a concentrated period of one to six months

PAYMENTS: artists will have to find funding to cover some residency costs, aided in any possible way by camac. Once on site your only spending will be for your own entertainment and personal requirements. Bursaries are available through UNESCO-Aschberg (www. portal.unesco.org) and Pepinieres Europeennes pour jeune artistes (www.art4eu.net)

DETAILS: the artist in residence programme at Camac aims to bring together (writing, painting, sculpture, architecture, design, multimedia and video art, new technologies, installation art, music, dance etc.) The selection of artists is done by an artistic committee, based on the quality of the project, its relevance to camac’s philosophy and environment, as well as the applicant’s past achievement.
