WHO: community artists
WHAT: RESPOND is an opportunity for three artists to creatively respond to the following questions: How can the Centre's building be used to inspire and enable artists and young people to fulfil their creativity, re-engage the many different communities in and around Hulme, helping them to explore their creativity, and extend the reach across the wider communities of Greater Manchester, appealing to artists and young people who might be otherwise hard to reach? The resulting answers to each residency brief will inform the future strategic development of the Centre, ensuring that it has the needs of its users at its core.
PAYMENTS: 12 week residency, £2,000 fee per artist, project budget up to £1000, marketing /profile raising, room use, staff time
