WHAT: part time (0.5) Lecturer in Fine Art
WHEN: from September 2010 or as soon as possible thereafter
PAYMENTS: £31,671 - £43,840 pa pro rata
DETAILS: to contribute to the delivery and development of the Fine Art BA (Hons) and MFA degree programmes at Newcastle University. Applicants should have a broad knowledge of contemporary visual art practice as well as specialist knowledge. Applications are particularly welcome from candidates whose practice is based in painting, printmaking, video/lens based media or a combination of these. The undergraduate Fine Art degree at Newcastle University emphasises the interdependence of practice with critical and historical issues and you should be able to support this approach. You may be involved in contributing to the MFA teaching and to the co-supervision of postgraduate research students. You will contribute to the administrative duties connected with the successful running of Fine Art degree programmes
