PAYMENTS: £34,201 - £41,062 pa pro rata
DETAILS: to join the team on the new BA Painting course at Camberwell College of Arts, one of four subject areas within the Undergraduate Fine Art Programme. With expertise in painting, the successful candidate will teach and inspire students, while providing them with academic and pastoral guidance. The role-holder will also have the opportunity to develop cross-college relationships, encouraging collaboration and connecting undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The role will involve some administrative tasks such as monitoring attendance and keeping records, but also an opportunity for continuing professional development. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver both practical and theory sessions to students and maintain an awareness of advances within their subject and higher education generally. Qualifications in teaching and painting are ideal but not essential. More important are excellent communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team and creating an exceptional student experience.
