Born 1985 in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Lives in Edinburgh, works around the UK

As an artist and writer I use abstract narratives and drawing to develop painted, sculptural, performative and site-responsive works. In recent projects miniature pencilled imaginations and texts have been used as a reference to plan painted props and place collected objects within layered installations.

Further to this conversation and confrontation are used as agencies to develop collaborations with other artists resulting in residencies, performances and written pieces.

I have extensive experience of working in galleries such as The Henry Moore Institute, Leeds, Centre for Contemporary Art, Glasgow and The Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh. I have also worked as a research library and archive assistant, and in 2010 coordinated the implementation of Transmission Gallery's resource room.

Since 2009 I have been contracted by a-n The Artists Information Company as an online editor managing and producing content for the organisation's website.
