Creating a personal link to your content at a-n.co.uk

Now you can personalise the link to your blog, you can more easily promote your Degrees unedited blog: allowing tutors, peers and friends the chance to see face-to-face the integrity of your practice as it compiles itself with the vaults of a-n.co.uk

Things you can do with your personalised link:

  • Want to grab yourself some direct commentary? Send the link with your name giving people access to your blog straight away - no confusion just simple communication.
  • Create a signature on your email: every time you email someone make it more professional by providing the direct link, inclusive of your name, to your blog.
  • Producing an Artist CV and want to direct prospective working partners and contractors to integral information? Provide them with your very own link that affiliates you with a-n The Artist Information Company, a well-known name in the business!
  • Designing business cards? Then put your link on there, and get networking through your blog!
  • You can easily reference someone else's blog in yours, and they can do the same for you. The same goes for reviews, and any other online content: the best thing is, your practice is now a lot more prevalent on the web!

How to create a personalised link to your blog:

You can now create a personalised link direct to your blog. This lets you create a shorter or more obvious link for promoting and directing people to your blog. Here's how:

Log in and go to 'My blogs', click into your blog (if you keep more than one blog you can create a personalised link for each blog, but not one link to all your blogs). In the grey right hand panel Click 'Edit blog intro' and go down to 'Personal link identifier' and type in the word you want to appear at the end of the URL. For example if you entered joe_bloggs, your personalised link would be: www.a-n.co.uk/link/joe_bloggs (Please note this particular link does not work.)

Click 'Save and preview'. Now if you type in your personalised link into the address bar it will direct to your blog.
