Be on time for our deadline and get featured whilst adding your valued contribution to the advocation of degree show season.
Discounted advertisement
The publication, distributed with the May issue of a-n Magazine, is a collective calendar for degree shows activity across the UK and a-n has an annual push for advocating and developing advertisement space for student groups who want to self-promote their shows. Discounts are available for students who approach the ads team first off.
It offers an unparalleled opportunity to highlight your degree show to the visual arts sector. Adverts must be booked by 30 March 2012.
In light of the crazy cuts this year the ads team are pushing for you to get in touch and negotiate advertising that suits you. Contact the team on 020 7655 0390 or ads@a-n.co.uk (quoting "Degrees 2012") for more information.
Student focused editorial
Every year the Degrees publication features commissioned artist stories, user generated profiles from the sites and quotes from student blogs to offer a topical spectrum of material. And the front cover directly promotes images from the Degrees unedited blogs.
Get involved and get featured. Make sure you're keeping your blog up to date to encourage conversation with other users. The more there is of a community the better placed our publication is for representing the student body come degree show season.
Features and profiles
Career profiles and stories from artists previously featured in past Degrees publications offer insight to pathways and career choices for artists new and old. There's no place like the Degrees publication for such reading material - it's a hotspot for topical tit bits and advise from a varied voice.
What's out there and who but you makes the most of it?
Artists published as students in past annuals and avid contributors to the Degrees unedited blogs were commissioned and highlighted in both Degrees 2009 and Degrees 2010 scoping career developments to date and future prospects from direct research insight. For some, their longevity as practitioners up to seven years on is testament to marketing and organisational skills practiced during studentship.
By 2020 you could have a similar story to tell... it starts here!
