It's probably a but late to start a blog about my degree seen as though I'm almost finished but oh well gotta start at some point.

I,m pretty much finished now just waiting on the show, really excited hope it goes well and I get a good reaction to my work.

My final piece is very personal so is very much about my own self acceptance and appreciation, so all the little details don't need to be so obvious, I want people to be intrigued by what it's about but still be able to use their own imagination and take something from it.

 my name is Cally I study Textiles Crafts, but specialise in Art with textiles, My work has taken a fine art approach and only uses textiles where relevant to the concept. Using textiles does intrigue me but isn't necessarily the best option when conveying a certain message within your work, and it may not be something I look to work with in the future but we'll see what happens.
