Geoff Litherland

  Geoff Diego Litherland was born in Tehuacan, Mexico in 1979. He grew up in Bolivia and Ecuador before moving to England and graduating from Falmouth College of Arts in 2002 with first class honours in Fine Art Painting. He currently lives and works in Nottingham and is an associate lecturer on the undergraduate Fine Art course at Nottingham Trent University. He has exhibited widely both nationally and internationally. Recognition to date includes being selected for the John Moores 25 Painting prize at the Walker Gallery in Liverpool and winning the 2008 Nottingham Castle Open. Recent solo exhibitions include Multiverses, Wallner Gallery Nottingham 2009, and Conjuntos Nottingham Castle 2009.   Read on…

Compass Live Art

Compass is an 18 month project that aims to stimulate the growth of live art in Yorkshire and the Humber through: infrastructure development between practitioners, programmers and Education Institutions; a unique series of programming initiatives linking venues, practitioners, current and new audiences; professional development workshops; a weekend symposium and accompanying festival. Compass is led by a consortium consisting of Sarah Spanton / Waymarking, Annie Lloyd and East Street Arts. Compass is funded by the Arts Council England.
