Blood Drops in SnowPhil Hession – Performance Wednesday 18th July, 7:30pm Doors open: 7pmPhil Hession is an artist working mostly with video and performance. His practice explores oral traditions of song and storytelling and presents these traditions in a contemporary manner. This is done predominantly through social and cultural exchanges, often taking the form of interviews or gatherings. These exchanges involve the documentation of song and story, and include teaching and learning traditional Irish song, and re-performing those songs within new contexts.
