ACA Residency Opportunities: 'The Future' [ 14 February 2011 ]
Allenheads Contemporary Arts is looking for artists that might engage with emerging technologies or scientific advances via a social/political context, taking on playful and inventive roles as hypothetical futurologists or visionary prophets. ACA will encourage the artist to work with a specialist collaborator. The artist may nominate a collaborator appropriate to his/her proposal, or work with ACA to find the most appropriate person for their research. ACA can assist in the development of partnerships with for example; scientists, science fictionists, philosophers, economists, environmentalists and forecasters.
