Artist in Residence - Art Links 2 [ 25 September 2009 ]

Unique opportunity to take a leading role in the Art Links Project in Tenbury, Worcestershire. The aim of the project is to challenge and develop art learning and participation, respond to local needs and to raise the profile of and access to visual art. The appointed artist will actively engage with schools and the community, leading a range of visual art workshops for children, young people and the community and jointly lead training sessions for art educators from across Worcestershire. The artist will be based in a studio at Tenbury CE Primary School. The post also offers an opportunity for the artist to develop and share their own practice and to exhibit and market their own work where appropriate. If applicants are successful at the shortlisting stage, the interview team would want to visit them in their present studio space if available, and where possible see them at work with children or young people.  Read full listing…
