Zelli is the only gallery in the world to display work from all six porcelain manufacturers - there is a particularly close relationship with Meissen. Every piece on display is hand made from pure porcelain, with subjects and styles ranging from the traditional to the contemporary - crouching tigers, art nouveau ladies, white Meissen candlesnuffers and state-of-the-art abstract sculptures. Throughout the year there are events, exhibitions and lectures to encourage and promote a wider appreciation of ornamental porcelain - a fine art sidelined by fashion since the glamour days of the 1930s and now making a massive come back.
