Caravansarai is an independent art production space and meeting point for creators. The building exists to support collaborative efforts, workshops, investigation, dinner parties, public and private events, and artist-in-residence programs and private live and work spaces. The building does not function as a gallery and does not hold exhibitions. Nokta is a project-based residency program for artists and collectives with funded projects in Istanbul, for example, artists that have been invited for an exhibition in Istanbul, or are creating a work for a festival, or are part of an exchange program. Nokta offers comfortable and convenient living quarters for 1-4 residents, production and meeting areas, advice on living and working in Istanbul and central address for mailing and meetings amongst other resources.
