Studios coordinator

WHO: artists, arts professionals

WHAT: Principal purpose is to support all aspects of Studio Holder activity within the building, to maintain the studios and related facilities and to manage and administrate the S1 Associates Scheme. To put in place strategies to allow Studio Holders and Associates the opportunity to develop their artistic practice and networks. To raise the profile of Studio Holders and Associates, S1 Artspace and its facilities.

WHEN: 2 days per week: Normally 10.30 - 6.30pm, but flexibility required

PAYMENTS: £18,000 pro rata

DETAILS: Key responsibilities include To effectively manage all aspects of the studios including all administration, finance, fundraising and marketing activities. To manage and administrate the S1 Associates Scheme. To promote Studio Holder and Associates activity to a wide and diverse audience. To develop fundraising bids to improve access to the building, general facilities, necessary renovations and to continue the Studio Coordinators position. To ensure that all forms of communication are maintained and kept up to date, including the Studios and Associates pages on the website, Facebook, Twitter etc. To research potential opportunities for S1’s Studio Holders and Associates To co-ordinate the studio holders’ review process. To co-ordinate all internal communications between studio holders, staff and the Board. To work with the Technician and Studio Holders to effectively maintain the function and cleanliness of all aspects of the building and its facilities. Provide day-to-day maintenance to the building and to undertake cleaning duties as required. To represent Studios Holders at Board meetings and external events when necessary To actively and positively contribute to other areas of S1 Artspace’s activities and duties as and when required
