WHO: students undertaking any UK educational textile/fashion course or related course.
WHAT: the Textile Society is committed to supporting and developing the study of textiles in the UK. Five bursaries are available in 2013, supporting internships or apprenticeships and BA or MA final year projects or dissertations. The judges are looking for projects that are viable and have vision.
PAYMENTS: funds for the bursaries are raised every year at antique textile fairs in London and Manchester. The awards are announced at the Manchester fair and there will be the opportunity for winners to exhibit at the 2013 fair.
