WHO: students.
WHAT: six day residential student workshop hosted jointly by York St John University and Yorkshire Sculpture Park, centred on the design, production and installation of pieces of usable sculpture. The workshop will be facilitated by a team of academic staff, technicians and curators, alongside artist Sarah Staton (see www.sarahstaton.com).
WHEN: 14-19 June.
PAYMENTS: accommodation and food costs will be covered.
CHARGES: students must fund their own return transport to York, but four bursaries of £500 to help toward travel expenses will be awarded on merit and need.
DETAILS: participants will be awarded a completion certificate, and their experiences in the workshop will be documented by student film-makers.
