WHAT: Lecturer in Film Practice
PAYMENTS: £30594 - £43622 pa
DETAILS: to contribute to the delivery and development of courses in digital video making and critical practice at the University of Kent. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute expertise to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Film, by teaching on existing modules as well as by designing new modules in your area of specialism. In particular the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the teaching of the first year core practice module. Candidates should have outstanding research potential, a postgraduate qualification (ideally a PhD) or equivalent professional achievement, and a strong profile of practice work. Demonstrable potential to produce exceptional published or practice-as-research outcomes that complement or extend our current research profile are essential. applications from those with teaching expertise which matches any of the current areas of our programmes (digital video production, documentary and fiction filmmaking, screenwriting), or which could enhance and extend their coverage are welcome.
