WHAT: Instructor/Workshop Technician - 3D Wood and Metal

WHEN: Fixed Term for one year

PAYMENTS: circa £16,100 pa

DETAILS: to support creative 3D work with students on a range of HE and FE courses within a specialist art college environment at Leeds College of Art and Design. Duties include instructing and supervising students in workshop practical sessions, preparing and issuing materials and equipment to students. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ordering materials/equipment and receiving deliveries, providing technical support for exhibitions, as well as housekeeping and maintenance of equipment in workshops. Practical experience working with wood and metals to a professional standard is essential along with a relevant qualification. This post requires you to be flexible regarding hours worked and be willing to undertake basic repairs and first aid training.
