Wales Artist Resource Programme
WHO: artists in Wales.
WHAT: a number of free schemes including 'Peer to Peer' for visual artists giving advice on how to further their practice by identifying obstacles and how to overcome them, and highlighting strengths and how to build on them. 'Group Mentoring', enabling artist groups to initiate a project of their own devising with the assistance of WARP mentors, and 'Resource Area', an artists' workspace based at g39 that includes bookable equipment, facilities and meeting area, library of periodicals, exhibition catalogues and monographs, knowledge back of relevant FAQs, advice, strategies and support, directory of recommended businesses and services related to art production and support, searchable database of artists.
WHEN: WARP Resource Area opening times: Wed-Sat 11-5pm or by appointment.
DETAILS: WARP is an artist-run professional development resource that enables Welsh and Wales-based artists to receive mentoring, training and advice from arts professionals.
