Rave Scholarship
WHO: curators from a country in transition or a developing country under 40.
WHAT: the Alexander Rave Foundation supports education and training within the fields of social science research, the arts and culture. It does this through its annual Research Award for an outstanding thesis or dissertation in the field of foreign cultural policy, and through a scholarship programme for curators, restorers, museum technicians and cultural managers from developing countries and countries in transition.
WHEN: three to six months.
PAYMENTS: monthly lump sum of E1,300. Traveling expenses (to and from Germany). Supplement for attendance of spouse in Germany. Children's supplement. Health insurance (also for spouse and children). German course (participation in a language course is expected).
