WHO: Young, emerging and established artists wishing to develop their practice.
WHAT: Dartmoor Arts offers an intensive week-long programme of art courses and events and provides a supportive environment for artists to come together and exchange experiences, network, learn new skills and disciplines and engage in interdisciplinary debate at the highest level.
WHEN: 24-30 July 2011
CHARGES: Courses cost £485 for the week including tuition, materials, evening meals and evening events. Bursaries are available to cover up to 40% of fees. Cheap camping available close by or B & B accommodation.
DETAILS: Typical courses include documentary film making, stone carving, painting, drawing, earth art, iron casting and the innovative spatial structures course. Tutors are all leading practitioners in their field. Evening events include talks by high profile artists as well as discussion, debate, screenings and performance.
