Moving Image and Touring Exhibition Services Technician
WHO: An individual with a solid background of working with audiovisual equipment and proven ability to communicate technical issues clearly. It is also desirable for the candidate to have experience of working in a cultural environment.
WHAT: MITES offer beginning-to-end services for event and exhibition installations, regardless of size or budget. The team have built and assisted many artistic and creative projects, including work with the Tate galleries, the Design Museum, the South London Gallery, The Whitworth Art Gallery and DADAFest. The MITES Technician is responsible for the management, preparation and maintenance of the MITES hire service equipment and for equipment resources used within the FACT Centre.
WHEN: Permanent 35 hours per week and as necessary to fulfil the scope of responsibilities within the post. This may involve some weekend and evening work and hours can be flexible to accommodate this. interviews held 06 Dec 2010.
PAYMENTS: Circa £22,000 depending on experience .
