A survey of the current programmes of a range of public galleries and organisations illustrates not just the diversity of work being made, but also the variety of partnerships and contexts through which artists and organisations are developing and showing work. This tour explores some of these contexts more closely, examining the creative imperatives of the artists, curators and commissioners involved in bringing particular projects to fruition.
