Matt Roberts Arts is an artist-led organisation formed in December 2006. They have held exhibitions in London, Leeds and Tel Aviv. Simultaneous to their curatorial activities, they have been providing professional development advice and work experience opportunities through a programme of national and international touring exhibitions, an annual open submission exhibition, professional development workshops, and training, and a quarterly online art magazine. Matt Roberts Arts received a NAN Go and See bursary in June 2009 to travel to Sweden and Denmark to meet with artist-led groups Galleri 60e in Umea, Concrete Poetry, Spanien 19c and V1 Gallery in Copenhagen, as part of their ongoing research into ideas of difference, and the uncanny.
