David Lewis and Lin Holland have worked together since 1999 when they co-ordinated Cyfuniad International Artists workshop, part of the Triangle Arts Trust global network of artist-led workshops. They have since worked together on Cyfuniad II in 2001 and most recently on Coast International Artists workshop held in Liverpool August 2007. They maintain their interest in facilitating dialogue between artists from different contexts and in addition each has an independent practice. The group aims to create sustainable links with artists and cultural bodies and facilitate dialogue between artists of different cultural contexts, providing opportunities for research which may lead to future collaborations and exchanges. Members of the group have a firm commitment to working in Liverpool as a city undergoing massive changes during the European Capital of Culture Year and with a rich cultural history and dynamic contemporary art scene.
