Worcester Contemporary Artists is an artist-led initiative formed following an a-n Open Dialogues event in April 2008. Initial focus centred around notions of borders and boundaries, the provincial and rural in contemporary art. Members meet regularly and have organised a group exhibition. WCA aims to create opportunities and dialogue around contemporary art in Worcestershire, to establish a network for mutual support amongst local, UK and international artists and to investigate the idea of provincial art and contemporary art in rural settings.
