a-n goes to college
Our subscription package for further and higher education institutions.

Since the launch of our new subscription package for further and higher education institutions back in August 2005, we’ve had a very positive response from across the UK. Thirty-four colleges, universities and art schools now enjoy unlimited access to www.a-n.co.uk for all their staff and students. Following an agreement with Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC), www.a-n.co.uk joined the electronic services available through the Eduserv Athens portal. Students and staff can use their Athens login to access subscriber resources at www.a-n.co.uk from any online computer. This allows for remote access including home use, whereas on-site workstations are given a secure IP connection, providing access to all areas of the website. The new JISC subscription to a-n Magazine and www.a-n.co.uk, only available to academic institutions, is a major development in our relationship with the FE/HE sector.
