For over fifteen years the Chrisi Bailey Award has been given annually some of the most extraordinary educational work with children using photography, digital arts, video and animation. Aiming to reward work that demonstrates creativity and innovation, rather than just a means of recording an event, this year the award is to be judged thematically, with each theme carrying a prize of £1000 along with a package of creative IT tools. The submission themes Environment, History and Heritage, and Identity act as a framework for the judging panel and are open to interpretation.
All applications must be received by 6pm on Friday May 12. An application form that includes a list of eligibility criteria can be downloaded at www.thechrisibaileyaward.org.uk, along with a history of the award and examples of previous winners work.
