Noel Kelly is Director of Visual arts Ireland. Andrew Nairne has become Director of Arts Strategy at Arts Council England’s national office. Simon Wallis is the first Director of Hepworth Art Gallery, Wakefield, a new RFO for 2008/09. A former Head of Visual Arts and Media at the then Eastern Arts Board, Caroline Sier has recently joined Kettle’s Yard, Cambridge as Development Officer. Former New Statesman editor John Kampfner has been appointed part-time non-executive chair of the Turner Contemporary Operating Trust to create the new gallery in Margate. Maria Agiomyrgiannaki has joined Live Art Development Agency as Administrator and Andrew Mitchelson, formerly Company and Resource Manager, is now Projects Manager, focusing on development of Unbound and Agency publications and projects. Following July’s call for applications Arts consultant Cinzia Hardy and Newcastle Gateshead Initiative’s Head of Programme Development Carol Bell will join the Board of Arts Council England North East.
