This month’s movers in the artworld.
Derry's Context Gallery has appointed Theo Sims as its new Director. He has moved back to Northern Ireland from Canada where he was the Programming Coordinator at aceartinc, Winnipeg. David Brine is leaving Live Art Development Agency to take up the role of Director of Performance Space Sydney, Australia in November. In the October Cabinet reshuffle Barbara Follett became Minister for Culture, Creative Industries & Tourism; she was previously Minister for Equalities. London-based Cockpit Arts has appointed sculptor Adrian Lee as studio manager at its Holborn building. John Munro has become Campaigns Manager at the National Campaign for the Arts. Cumbria Network has appointed Brian Reid from Aurora, Northumberland as its new director.
