Art moves

This month’s new appointments.

Kate Gray is the new Director of Collective Gallery, Edinburgh, starting in June. For the past three years, Kate has been the Lead Artist for the Collective One Mile Programme. She has also worked for Artlink Edinburgh and the Lothians as part of the artist team on the Fusion and Functionsuite collaborative projects in hospitals. Lucy Gibson has been appointed Audience Development Coordinator at Axis. Lucy is an artist-curator based in Leeds and is also a member of a-n’s NAN advisory group. Katrina Brown, Director of the Common Guild, is to be the new Director of the Glasgow International Festival of Contemporary Visual Arts in 2010 and 2012. Moira Sinclair has been appointed the Executive Director of Arts Council England, London. Moira was previously Director of Development at the arts council’s London office and has been Interim Executive Director since December 2007. Before joining the Arts Council in 2005 Moira was Director of Vital Arts, an award winning arts and health organisation. She has also worked in local government, and in theatre and production management, with roles at Greencandle Dance Company, Tricycle Theatre and at the Hexagon in Reading. Sarah...
