This month: Alex Hetherington and Janie Nicoll
The image sychronizes and summarises materials and research from the first stages of a year-long residency at Callendar House. Janie Nicoll has employed a black lace cuff manipulating it to express a camp or feminine sensibility. Alex Hetherington has used a range of pre-existing materials, performance, video and references that simulate memory loss, exaggerated behaviour, deception and re-enactment.
