Deptford X Deptford X 2009, now in its eleventh successful year, is a programme of contemporary visual art exhibitions and events in and around SE8, London that runs from Friday 25 September - Sunday 4 October 2009. Born of Deptford's creative community, and based on a belief in the limitless potential of the area, Deptford X exists to promote the best contemporary visual art, and to celebrate that art with the widest possible audience. www.deptfordx.org Host Open Studio Trail HOST09 will see 63 artists across 27 venues in Huddersfield and the surrounding area open up their homes, studios and spaces to the public. This year the venues stretch out to encompass North Kirklees and include Batley, making the event a truly regional showcase of creativity.
