Triangle Arts trust has appointed curator, writer and Artistic Director of the 17th Biennale of Sydney David Elliott as Chair, succeeding Robert Loder who will remain a trustee. Arts Council England North East Director Mark Robinson has confirmed he will not stand for appointment within the new organisational structure. A consortium of South East universities, led by University for The Creative Arts, has appointed Tim Eastop as Director of the Creative Campus Initiative – a series of cultural events, exhibitions and performances in the run up to the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics. Richard Wentworth has been appointed as Professor and head of its Sculpture Department at the RCA. Mark Greco has departed Creative and Cultural Skills where he had played a leading role on the Visual Arts Blueprint and Workforce Development Plan. Sarah O'Reilly has been appointed General Manager of Hayward Gallery at Southbank Centre, moving from Tate where since July 2007 she has been Programme Manager for transforming Tate Modern.
