From over 2,000 entries, 59 projects were shortlisted for Artists Taking the Lead. Artists get a £5,000 development grant to pitch to Septembers artist panels. The twelve commissions to be developed in 2010-11 will be announced in October. There is £500,000 to spend in the nine English regions, £190,000 in Northern Ireland, £460,000 in Scotland and £230,000 in Wales.
