Arts Council England Chief Executive Alan Davey, who called for future government to maintain levels of investment in the arts at October's Culture Is Right conference in London, has been appointed Chair of the International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA). Safle's new Chair of the Board of Trustees is Sue Essex who takes over from founding Safle chair Harry James. Chris Blade (RCA) has joined National Glass Centre, Sunderland as the new Glass Studio Manager, moving to Sunderland from his previous base in Israel. Tessa Jackson is the new Chief Executive Officer of London's Iniva. Jackson has over twenty-five years experience within the visual arts as a gallery director, curator, and consultant on cultural policy and strategic planning in the UK and internationally.
