ACAVA For over thirty years ACAVA has supported the development and practice of the visual arts. At present, it manages studios for 450 artists in twenty buildings across London and one work/live space in Berlin. Always seeking to make international as well as local connections, ACAVA's work/live facilities provide opportunities for international residencies and exchanges, five of which are currently underway. Among those is the Oz residency, a collaboration between ACAVA, Artquest and Paramatta Artists' Studios in Australia which has seen British artists Maria Amidu and Jay Hoe each spend three months in Australia, and Australian artists John Spiteri and Maria Ionico, three months in London. ACAVA also runs the TrAIN programme at the University of the Arts enabling German artists Bettina Pousttchi and Karolin Meunier each to live and work in London for six months.
