Open studio events around the UK plus calls to take part.

Bow Arts Trust Open Studios Bow Arts Trust Open studios are held over the weekend of 19-21 June, where the work of over 100 artists can be seen. This is one of the largest and most respected open studios events in East London with over 2,000 people expected to attend. Bow Arts Trust Open Studios launches on the Friday night to a party atmosphere, all studios are open, with live music, bars and Thai Food in the courtyard garden. On the same evening the Bow Arts Trust's own Nunnery Gallery launches it's annual Open Exhibition selected from the Bow Arts based artists. This year the show is curated by Sarah Elson who has selected 18 artists including Gordon Cheung, Silke Dettmers and Laura White. The exhibition runs until 18 July. www.bowarts.com E17 Art Trail Preparations for the 2009 E17 Art Trail are well under way and the organisers are inviting artists to sign up. For nine days in September you'll find art emerging all over Walthamstow using every conceivable space. This year trail organisers have chosen the subtitle 'At Home: In Walthamstow' and the theme of 'home' to celebrate the place where many artists live and work.
