Loughborough University School of Art & Design Courses: MA Art & Design (Studio Practice), MA/MsC 2D and 3D Visualisation, MA Studio Ceramics: Methodologies and Practice. Duration: 1 year full-time, or 2 years part-time (2D and 3D Visualisation part-time by individual negotiation). Criteria for applying: a degree or equivalent in an art and design discipline or a closely related subject. A lower level qualification with appropriate professional/ industrial experience may also be considered. Entry also depends on a suitable 'portfolio' of supporting visual material. Applicants for MA Art & Design (Studio Practice) should also submit a 1,000 word project proposal. Bursaries or funding available: all students accepted will be awarded a £1,000 bursary, there is also the opportunity to apply for a limited number of scholarships worth £3,000, international students may apply for a 25% discount. Deadline: although most programmes do not have formal closing dates demand for places is very high and you are therefore advised to apply as early as possible. Programmes start in October.
