From beginners, advanced amateurs and professional photographers to academics and researchers, hundreds of people each year benefit from City Lit's comprehensive programme of part-time photography courses in central London. Tina True is Head of Digital Art & Art History at City Lit: "Above all, we offer courses for people who are fascinated by some aspect of photography, who want to be taught by practicing professionals and specialists with outstanding teaching experience," she says. City Lit recently opened a brand new, state of the art photography studio, with a full range of professional lighting equipment and background systems, plus digital imaging workstations and industry standard software (such as Photoshop CS4 and Lightroom). There are a range of printers, suitable for fine art and archival printing, scanners and peripheral devices, along with more specialised items such as panorama creation software. The photography studio also has a range of obligatory digital cameras for students to use during class time.
