Liz Whitehouse departed her role as Director of The Art House Wakefield in December: she will be replaced by a new Chief Executive Officer who is yet to be appointed. Anna Cutler has been appointed Tate's first Director of Learning, taking up the post in January 2010. Over the last twenty years, she has worked across education and cultural settings at a local, national and international level. The founding Artistic Director and Chief Executive of Artes Mundi Tessa Jackson has been appointed Chief Executive of Iniva (Institute of International Visual Arts), London. Dr Penelope Curtis, currently curator of the Henry Moore Institute, will be the new Director of Tate Britain. She replaces Stephen Deuchar, who has become Director of the Art Fund.
