This is a professional development opportunity that allows individuals and groups to structure their own time within the supportive and creative environment of the Banff Centre. The centre attracts artists and leaders from around the world resulting in the creation and performance of new works of art, sharing skills and knowledge in an interdisciplinary environment, exploring ideas and developing solutions in the arts and leadership. MSTLAB is a two week interdisciplinary laboratory exploring the convergence of art, architecture, and landscape based research and practice. The residencey centres on a studio developed around the theme of critical landscape based on ideas of landscape, memory, tourism, colonialism and authenticity of experience.
