Work submitted must use the medium of photography. Work will largely be wall based, but can include photo-based imagery within installation, or as a key element of other artforms (ie screenprinting, mixed media, photo-sculpture, etc). There is no pre-determined theme. The number of artists included will be 6 at minimum, and 12 maximum. Work in a series is preferred. After graduating many students are unsure of how to continue with their practice. The critique and support evenings will provide recent graduates with a supportive environment and a framework for discussion of the opportunities and challenges for a range of photographic practice. These events will take place every two months - as well as an opportunity to share your work with your peers, there will be occasional guest speakers from the photography and arts sectors who will talk on the development of their careers in the arts and creative Industries. Rhubarb-Rhubarb International Review is one of Europe's premier photographic portfolio reviews. Street Level have 3 bursaries to cover fees of attending this prolific event for image-makers which will offer 12 twenty minute sessions over 2 days with photographic fine art curators, gallerists and publishers.
