WHO: candidates with significant expertise in a broad-based Fine Art practice, together with a PhD and/or equivalent postgraduate/professional qualification/experience in fine art. If your practice and research is located within painting this is an advantage.
WHAT: full time Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Fine Art (Painting)

PAYMENTS: £31,798 - £45,336
DETAILS: to provide undergraduate and postgraduate teaching as part of a team in the Department of Arts at Northumbria University. The successful candidate will initiate new research projects, develop approaches to external funding agencies, supervise PhD students and contribute to collaborative research activity. The postholder will also create and deliver innovative and interesting modules designed to provide a high-quality student experience in Fine Art Practice. Applicants will demonstrate achievement in research to a high professional standing in the field, and the ability to make a significant contribution to the development of research and/or consultancy within the Department and School.
